Keisha Rose grew up with a love and passion for storytelling. After spending years editing YouTube videos, Keisha decided to pursue Film Production as a career. In 2018, Keisha graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. She then went on to complete a Graduate Certificate at Sheridan College’s Advanced TV & Film program, with a focus on Sound & Picture Editing. In 2019, Keisha graduated from Sheridan College where she was awarded the Panavision Academic Achievement Award for her work in Picture Editing. Immediately after graduating, Keisha entered the Toronto TV & Film industry and began working as a 2nd Assistant Editor on TLC’s Untold Stories of The ER. In 2019, Keisha was welcomed into the Directors Guild of Canada as a 1st Assistant Editor. Her first project as a union Assistant Editor was on Lionsgate’s STARZ P-Valley.

Keisha has worked on both scripted and non-scripted programs during her career. As a 1st Assistant Editor, she has worked on shows such as CBC’s Margaret Atwood: A Word After A Word Is Power, CBC’s Anyone’s Game, and Insight Productions Big Brother. On the sound side of things, Keisha has mixed CBC’s ‘Absolutely Canadian’ documentary, Family Affair, and the award-winning documentary, The ‘S’ Word. 

In 2021, Keisha was promoted to Junior Editor on the 9th season of Insight Productions Big Brother. Over the last 3 years, Keisha has gone on to edit shows such as MTV’s All-Star ShoreCBC’s Best In Miniature,  Amazon Prime’s LOL: Last One Laughing Canada, and Global’s Robyn Hood. In 2023 Keisha began working as a Story Producer with SiriusXM Canada producing digital content then moved on to Canada’s Ultimate Challenge. Currently, Keisha is working as an Editor on CBC’s second season of, Canada’s Ultimate Challenge. 

Looking into the future, Keisha hopes to learn more about storytelling and master the craft of Editing. Her goal is to have the chance to be a part of compelling stories that become rooted in individuals' lives. Her biggest dream is to win an Oscar…but isn’t that every filmmaker's dream?
